4 Days/3 Nights:

DAY 1 Arrival in Phoenix. Meet Grand Canyon Field Course representative at baggage claim. Depart for Montezuma's Castle National Monument. Tour Montezuma’s Castle National Monument. Lunch. Depart for Sedona. Slide Rock State Park: Swim in Oak Creek (weather permitting). Depart for the San Francisco Peaks. Hike the peaks above 9000 feet elevation. Dinner. Lowell Observatory. Check into our hotel and overnight. L D

DAY 2 Breakfast. Depart for Grand Canyon east entrance. Working towards west rim with expert Grand Canyon guide with stops at: Little Colorado Overlook; Desert View Watchtower; Tusayan Ruins and Museum; Grandview Point. Box lunch. Hike South Kaibab Trail (hikes based on ability). Group photo. Hike along the rim near Bright Angel. IMAX movie: “Grand Canyon: The Hidden Secrets“. Dinner. “Rock Climbing” at indoor gym. Overnight. DAY 3 Breakfast. Load bags on van/bus. Depart for Page, AZ. Float-trip down the Colorado River. Lunch on the River. Transfer to the Phoenix airport. Dinner. Departure. B L D

DAY 4 Arrival home.

6 Days/5 Nights:

DAY 1 Arrival in Las Vegas. Meet Grand Canyon Field Course representative at baggage claim. Depart for Lake Mead. Lunch Lake Mead Visitor Center. Hoover Dam Tour. Depart for Flagstaff. Dinner. Check into our hotel and overnight. L D

DAY 2 Breakfast. Depart for Grand Canyon east entrance. Work toward the west rim with expert canyon guide featuring stops at: Little Colorado River Gorge; Desert View Watch Tower; Hike the South Kaibab Trail (hikes based on ability); Canyon View Information Plaza and Mather Point. Dinner and overnight at hotel. B L D



DAY 3 Breakfast. Museum of Northern Arizona. Depart for Sedona. Drive through Oak Creek Canyon. Hike the Vortex. Lunch in Cottonwood. Tour the “Ghost Town” of Jerome, once the World’s largest copper mine. 2:15-2:45 Free time Jerome. Slide Rock State Park: Swim in Oak Creek (weather permitting). Dinner. Lowell Observatory. Travel to our hotel and overnight. B L D

DAY 4 Breakfast. Depart for Sunset Crater Volcanic National Monument/Wupatki. Depart for Page, AZ. Float-trip on the Colorado River. Lunch on the River. Dinner. “Rock Climbing” at indoor gym. Return to our hotel and overnight. B L D

DAY 5 Breakfast. Load bags on van/bus. Depart for Las Vegas. Arrive at Circus Circus Adventuredome for lunch and activities. Other Las Vegas sights as time and crowds allow. 4:30 Leave Circus Circus. Group dropped off at Caesar’s Forum Shops for one hour of free time/shopping with trip leader. Dinner Planet Hollywood. Walk Las Vegas Boulevard to the Bellagio for the Fountains of Bellagio Show. Transfer to Las Vegas airport. Departure. B

DAY 6 Arrival home.
